This position will assist the Area Manager with all administrative activities for the Newcomer Dayton, Ohio funeral homes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ensuring all contracts, merchandise invoices, adjustments, weekly and monthly reports and disbursement registers are timely and accurate before sending to home office. This position will support administrative staff in creating life stories videos and printed materials. This position is also responsible for scheduling and supervising staff to ensure adequate personnel coverage to meet client families’ needs. The ideal candidate will have 3 years related experience; A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study or job specific skills acquired through on-the-job training; demonstrated attention to detail with effective written and verbal communication skills and follow through; proven experience in clerical accounting; problem solving; ability to manage time effectively in order to organize and prioritize work load; possess or have the ability to be a Certified Notary Public and be flexible and function in a fast paced environment.
